Abstract

Results from a multi-wave survey of 244 full-time employees showed that moral repair is associated with dark side outcomes, such as employees engaging in unethical pro-supervisor behavior. This effect is mediated by their gratitude, desire to reciprocate, and identification with their manager, and is moderated by moral identity.
