About Pearson

Steven Pearson (Intermittent Lucidity, acrylic on birch panel, left) is an abstract painter who has exhibited widely, including such places as The Delaware Center for Contemporary Art, Studio H Gallery in Washington, D.C., and the Baltimore/Washington International Airport. He received his B.S. in studio art from the College of Saint Rose, and his M.F.A. in painting from the Hoffberger School of Painting at the Maryland Institute College of Art. Pearson has been an artist in residence at the Vermont Studio and the Ragdale Foundation. Pearson’s work can be found in several public and private collections. He is an associate professor of art at McDaniel College and paints at the Oliver Street Studios in Baltimore, Md.
