Abstract
Wayang Kulit is an art and form of entertainment used in Bali. Shadow puppets are made to depict stories from the Ramayana and the Mahabhrata: the two main religious texts of largely Hindu Bali. This soundscape essay showcases the many aspects of Balinese Wayang Kulit and how the art form still impacts Balinese society today.
