Description

The Balinese people believe that it is important to give offerings to their gods in thanks for all of the blessings the gods give them in life. Offerings are made using rice, incense, holy water, and flowers. The offerings are traditionally held in a small basket of woven banana leaves. All sorts of flowers are used in the offerings because the fresh scents of the flowers are believed to please the gods.
