The Gettysburg Compiler is a scholarly blog written and edited by students and staff of the Civil War Institute at Gettysburg College. Its purpose is to be a virtual bridge between student research and the public. Each entry is researched and written by a Gettysburg College student while serving as a Civil War Institute Fellow. Their work interrogates important original sources, much of it housed in the Special Collections at the Musselman Library.
