Abstract
Author and historian Allen Guelzo gave a lecture on free speech and the First Amendment. He discussed student protests against invited speakers to college campuses and warned against activists who he said aim to silence political speech by redefining it as "culture". He also expressed his thoughts on the practice of NFL players kneeling in protest during the playing of the national anthem. The forum was hosted by the Abraham Lincoln Foundation of the Union League of Philadelphia.
