This painting consists of an image from the archives at Gettysburg College, as well as images from Tumblr, a current, digital archive. The goal was to combine three images together. The realistic roses contrast with the stylistic rose in the center of the canvas, which also contrasts with the cartoon rose in the bottom right corner.
